Countdown is ON
We are all set and scheduled at the hospital for December 15th at 8am! Kade Michael Hayes will make his entrance! We are so excited but I have to say I am also a bit scared and intimidated at the thought of two babies at home full time! Lots of praying to do!! I am feeling pretty well right now I can't complain. But the heartburn is crazy and I feel legs or feet or something pushing out to the right side. Funny enough Kennedy stayed on my right side too!! Here are some pictures from our family maternity session! I forgot to mention that Kennedy took her first steps on November 11th! Now she is totally ON THE MOVE!

Happy Halloween!!
We had a great Halloween! Rag Dolls, Rock Stars and Pumpkin Girls-oh and don't forget Wayne from Wayne's World!! Kennedy is still not walking so no trick or treating for her! I made my famous Halloween chili and we had friends and family stop by to help us eat it! I love this cooler weather we are having! Especially at 32 weeks pregnant! The baby furniture is being delivered today so we are on our way to getting the new "double" nursery ready! I will post pictures when it is complete!!! Now I can't wait for Thanksgiving!! I have been dreaming about Turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes!!! YUM!

Mom's Night Out
I had the best time last Saturday night celebrating Sam's 35th birthday with my girlfriends! A night out was much needed! With Michael out of town this week I think I need a WEEK out when he gets back! Besides forgetting to take my car seat out of his truck, Kennedy's teething and double ear infection and being 31 weeks pregnant...I am ready to run for the hills!!! Mothering is not easy, anyone who says that they don't work when they stay at home with children is totally underestimating themselves!!!

Kade's Wigdget
In the corner of my blog you will find Kade's wigdget. I haven't even tracked one picture of my belly so far. With Kennedy I was taking pictures every week it seemed! I guess this pregnancy just surprised me a little or a LOT...so I am a little behind! We recently had a family at our church who lost a little baby boy for the second time. It brought me to my knees thanking God for healthy children and a healthy pregnancy. I realized how ungrateful I was being because this wasn't on my timing. God's timing is perfect even when we can't see it! I know he will use my children for his grand purpose. I am so blessed!!

Summer Vacations 2008
We had a wonderful time with family at Vero Beach this year! Skim boarding, boogie boarding, swimming and relaxing. We then took a trip to Maggie Valley and stayed in a beautiful cabin for a week! Here are some pictures to share! We also have some exciting and somewhat overwhelming news..there is going to be a new member in the Hayes family...yes again!!!! We will have a new baby for Christmas this year! The new addition to the Hayes family will be born on or around December 15th! Pray for me...I am still a little shell shocked!! But I know that God has a plan and I will be just fine with two babies...a teenager...and a second grader!!!!! Like I said pray for me!

Kennedy's First Visit with Aunt Kate and Uncle Chris
Sorry I haven't posted in a while! I have been so busy with work...you can check out my work blog anytime to see what I am up to at www.hayescommunications.blogspot.com. I wanted to post some pictures of our visit with Kate and Chris who came all of the way from France to see us! We had a perfect time and it was so great to get to know them both. Fabulous people! Kate even brought Kennedy her VERY first dress from Paris!!!!! I am jealous...but my big sister PROMISED to take me shopping in Paris when I go to visit her. The countdown is on and I hope to try and go in the next year or so!!! I can't wait!

Happy Easter!!!
Well the past week has been a tough one! Last Wednesday March 12th, Kennedy had her first major accident. We were at the Dr.'s office and I had just changed her diaper on the examination table. I turned my head for a split second to throw the diaper away, I was right there...she flipped and before I could catch her she was gone...off of the table!I can honestly say I don't remember ever being that scared. She responded immediately and the Dr. called an ambulance. We spent the night in the hospital to make sure she was okay. After two CT scans we found she had two skull fractures but by the GRACE of our GOD...she had no bleeding or swelling on the brain. God performed a miracle and she is okay. Mommy did much worse than she did..I have felt horribly responsible for the accident...but I am working on forgiving myself and learning a lesson I will never forget. Every time I look at her precious smile I feel so grateful that she is here, and that God was holding onto her that day. I want to wish EVERYONE a very happy Easter! May we not forget why we celebrate this day...our Lord Jesus Christ sacrificed his life so that we may be forgiven! Much love to all!!!

Family Winter Vacation
We had a GREAT time in Gatlinburg, TN over the new year! It snowed to top it all off! The kids played in it all day! It was so neat for them, being Florida raised kids. Mom spoiled us everyday with breakfast, and we relaxed and took in the sights! We even went Go-Kart riding...fun!!! We visited Ober Mountain, Downtown Gatlinburg, The Old Mill, The Apple Barn, and my all-time favorite...the Log Cabin Pancake House!!
